I applied through college or university. I interviewed at CNA in Sep 2014
Interview
Set up an interview through a connection I made at a university career fair. Interviewed with 2 people separately one asked questions related to my resume and the other asked more behavioral questions. Pretty basic interview questions overall.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most unexpected questions were to describe the components of a income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
Two 30 minute phone interviews, first with HR and then an actuarial student. They were very enthusiastic and encouraging, asking normal behavioral questions.
Final round interviews in the home office. Three 30 minute interviews, one each for company fit, technical and analytical skills, and business acumen. Be prepared for non-stop grilling in the technical interview. Have technical school or work projects that you can talk about extensively.
Very positive experience overall.

Interview
Phone interview, typical questions where asked. She briefly ran over my resume out loud and you could tell it was her first time viewing it. I answered all the questions and had thought I did well but eventually was told I was under qualified in comparison to other candidates academic backgrounds.
