Question 1
They asked me to design a real-time system that processes millions of streaming events per second, ensures sub-millisecond latency, and remains fault-tolerant under sudden traffic spikes. How would I architect it end-to-end?

Interview
I submitted my application for CNA’s Finance/Accounting Summer Internship in early September, as well as the online video interview via HireVue. At first, everything looked promising, communication was rapid, and I even saw recruiter activity on LinkedIn shortly after I submitted the video interview.
Nonetheless, after that, there was no response whatsoever for almost seven weeks. I had sent a follow-up email afterwards, which received no response either. It came to light that the recruiter I had been working with had left the company, with no one assigned to follow up on her candidates' applications. It wasn’t until I followed up once again that I received a response from her replacement, confirming that the group had continued with other candidates.
It is disappointing to see that my application had possibly been left in limbo during the transition. This lack of transparency is unfortunate, particularly in consideration of the time that went into preparing the HireVue interviews.

Interview
Started off quickly, went through 2 rounds within 1st week. Then lots of delays and unknown, loooong delays of weeks without any comms. People were great to talk to each round, very casual. But another round kept getting added, until ~3months later down to decision. Rejected for no real reason except the ultimate decision maker saw I lacked insurance background. Well, you could've made that decision much earlier instead of holding a carrot in front of me. Very disappointed, already showed me who holds the reins internally!
