I applied online. I interviewed at CBRE (New York, NY)
Interview
surprisingly informal for being industry leading company. Interviewed in NYC headquarters with division head 1 on 1 in a conference room. Was one other applicant that came yesterday, but no others in the works for a position that needed to be filled asap due to an employee unexpectedly quitting. He was down to earth. The position was not what I was looking after hearing his in depth synopsis on the analyst work and future direction/promotion. Interview was more of a professional conversation, rather then a highly structured session. Meeting lasted about 20-30 minutes.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you elaborate on some of your real estate/analyst past experiences on your resume?
The conversation was smooth and comfortable. The interviewer clearly explained the role and benefits, asked straightforward questions, and created a welcoming environment that made the interaction easy and professional throughout the interview process.
The interview touched a lot on real estate law, key terms, and specific industry knowledge. Very doable for people with an RE background but I imagine it would be difficult for those who do not have that.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CBRE (Manila, ) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process was good. You start with the HR interview (online), then the department's head (online). Might take a while to hear back from them, especially if you have a lot of competition. But if they like you, you'll be directed to the country manager (f2f, for me). Be yourself and be honest.
