Brocade interview questions

Brocade is a company that solely works on C (not even C++). Therefore, whatsoever a great knowledge you have about object oriented features or JAVA, they wont going to ask you any Question in these fields, unlike most other companies. My technical interview lasted for 1 hour, followed by HR interview of 1.5 hrs duration. I was selected. Technical Interview: They asked question related to String handling, Trees, Linked List -- a lot of data structure. Brocade is a networking company, so brush up ur networking knowledge before appearing for a interview. They will gonna drill down into TCP, OSI layer stack , UDP, Routing protocols and so on. They asked me the scenarios where u will prefer to use UDP instead of TCP and vice versa. I was Mtech, so be very much aware of your MTP thesis, they will ask you a lot of your MTP thesis, challenges u faced, how frequently u approach ur guide, how u negotiate a problem with guide etc etc. These were all was a part of HR interview.

Process moved very quickly. Initial phone interview lasted about 25 minutes, then I was scheduled to meet with the Director of Adv/Media, Brand manager, and the Sr. Director within 4 days. Each interview lasted 45 minutes. Second round of interviews occurred 3 days later with the Mktg CMO and lasted 45 minutes. Campus is beautiful, people were very friendly and kind, organized, and interviews were insightful. Waiting for written offer.
