I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at British Council (Yakarta) in Jun 2019
Interview
I applied via website and then 1 week after that I got an invitation for interview. The first interview went very well even though I am a bit nervous, I can easily answer the questions. After that I got an invitation to come again to their office for doing a presentation regarding marketing strategy and issue that I need to solve. I present my ideas and solution, but they really asked me technical question in which I think the entry-level role have no idea about that.
What makes me upset that is I checked the employee that just resigned from this role on LinkedIn. She was come from radio announcer experience and from what I know is so much different with Marketing/Media.
Why the interviewer really have a high expectation from this entry level role? I meant this role is for people with 1 year experience, what you expect for candidate to answer regarding budget KOLs, Paid Ads, and other budget related questions???
Beware to apply for this organization, it was a trap. I regret that they want me to send the presentation file before the presentation session, then I sent it.
I looked at Director Instagran account and she just post about 'this one interesting topic', that she just know it when I did a presentation. So you know what I mean.
