I applied online. I interviewed at British Council
Interview
Questions about teaching knowledge, behavior, safeguarding plus the usual history question. All competency based so required a STAR answer. All bc interviews follow this process. I recommend looking at rope profile, skills and behaviors and preparing examples before.
The interview process was normal, classic, and easy to follow. The interviewers were friendly and professional, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Communication was clear throughout, and the overall experience felt organised, welcoming, and positive.
Professional. It followed a structure of questions based on behavioural competencies which examined a range of behaviours from organisation to holding people accountable. The interview was very much about illustrating these required competencies to prior experience.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at British Council (Singapur)
Interview
When I applied there were physical people in HR in Singapore. Now HR is a portal. You have to do a timed video interview with set questions. If you get through that you will be interviewed by real people.
