I applied online. I interviewed at British Council (Seúl) in Aug 2018
Interview
I applied online and had a phone interview about a week later with two academic managers of the young learner’s department.
I followed the STAR format for answering the questions.
I was told to wait no more than a week to hear back about my results.
The phone interview took just 45 minutes.

Few months waiting for vetting checks. So it took a while to get through the interview and all the background checks, took 6 months until I could start working after the online interview.
It's a long process and quite complicated if completing for the first time. However, it's very standardised which means it's fair. You receive the overview if their teaching standards before the interview.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you helped younger learners with their writing skills.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at British Council (Hanói) in May 2022
Interview
Very positive and friendly. The process was well explained and the interview was divided into 3 parts. The panel was nice and I had an opportunity to ask questions at the end, as well as add more information to my answers.
