I applied through other source. I interviewed at British Airways (Londres, Inglaterra) in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied online between August and September a few days later they sent me an online test to complete, the test was okay, it was a bit all over the place, if you ask me. But I passed and was invited to a hotel in London to complete my interview. We all were there, there was about 10 of us, and we had to complete a simple maths test and so on. They also explained the job role and business, splitting us into two groups. Then we were taken to complete role plays (you are given scenarios) then lastly was the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
When have you had to deal with an angry or upset customer?
You will be given a group task. Find a balance between taking part in the conversation but not taking the lead. It's about your interaction, not solving the problem. A girl in our group was really bossy and said 'come on guys, we have 5 minutes left to get this done' I noticed she was sent home before the 1-1 interviews.
There is an individual roleplay whereby the interviewer acted as a difficult customer. This wasn't as bad as it sounds and this part doesn't last long. Just think customer service, polite and apologetic and try to offer a solution (you are not expected to know BA processes)
After this is the 1-1 interview and it is a lot about your past experiences workwise and how you reacted to situations so come prepared with examples in mind. I was interviewed by 2 people and they were both really nice and made the interview pretty comfortable.

Question 1
Have you ever been in a situation where you did not follow a set process and if not why?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at British Airways (Londres, Inglaterra) in Dec 2017
Interview
Basically the interview didn't get off to a great start for me, the chap at the front desk gave me the wrong form to fill out, then said sorry gave me the correct form, as I was given the right form, one of the interviewees came up to me and said "have you not filled that in yet? come on hurry up" I was so shocked at how rude he was and this was really a bad first impression, apart from him though all the other interviewees were super friendly and warm. I then went to do the reach test with this mentioned chap, and a form about piercings and tattoos, Now I always thought honesty is the best policy. NO. I have a tiny tattoo that fits underneath my watch strap that no one sees and no one would have seen throughout my career with BA, but I mentioned I had it. They made quite a big deal over it, saying I would have to cover it with make up? under my watch strap? really? Some common sense now and again I think should be exercised. Basically Lie about tattoos, honesty is not the best policy and BA prefer to employ people who lie about them. I was asked to leave the interview process and I am 99% certain it was down to this. The interview lasted from 8:30am to 2:00pm, I completed 3 role plays all lasting around 30 minutes each, the rest of the time sat around waiting.
The job really appealed to me, and I had done the equivalent role at Virgin for over 10 years, but I just don't think BA's company culture is for me, so a positive outcome anyway, but good luck and I hope my tips help you!

Question 1
you really have to get into role plays straight away, I actually love all this though,
