I interviewed at Brink's, Incorporated (Newark, NJ)

      Interview

You attended an interview for a Brinks armored transport/security position, where you were evaluated on your driving experience, reliability, and ability to operate in high-pressure environments. You discussed your experience handling heavy traffic conditions in the Tri-State area, including NYC routes, tight urban driving, and defensive driving skills. You highlighted your ability to stay alert in congested areas, follow strict safety procedures, and maintain situational awareness around pedestrians and other vehicles. The interview also covered your work history, schedule flexibility for long shifts, and willingness to handle secure transport responsibilities.

      CDL Driver Interview

      Aug 18, 2023
      Anonymous employee
      Portland, OR
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Brink's, Incorporated (Portland, OR) in Jul 2022

      Interview

Initial Application: My journey with Brink's Inc. started when I applied online through the Brink's careers web portal. The application process was simple and took only a few minutes. Interview: Rather than a rigorous, formal interview with multiple rounds, the process at Brink's Inc. was relaxed and straightforward. I had a conversation with the branch manager, which felt more like a casual chat than an interview. The questions were easy to understand and didn't require extensive thought or preparation. It was a "get-to-know-you" style conversation, which was refreshing compared to the more structured, corporate-style interviews I've encountered before. Job Offer: Shortly after the phone call with the branch manager, I received a job offer letter, which I accepted. Screening Process: Brink's Inc. conducts a credit check and background check on prospective employees, which is reasonable considering the nature of the business. It's important to note that this company does not hire individuals with a criminal background, which makes sense given the need to handle money. Additionally, if you are a Portland Pothead do not apply. Medical Examination: As part of the hiring process, I underwent a DOT medical examination through Concentra. Training: Once the formalities were completed, the training phase began. The training was relatively quick, and I was up to speed in no time.
