The interview process for a research assistant was very little, all you have to do is show an interest in the topic of research and seem like a good student. It helps if you already have a relationship with the professor.

Interview
I interviewed at the School of Public Health and the process was very thorough. In this particular department there was an interview with the manager, the manager's manager, other RAs working on the project, and the PI. Each one was a separate interview so there were 4 in total across 2 visits. It was a long process to say the least!
