I have always had positive interview experiences for student positions at Boston University. The CSC office is no different. The Director and Asst. Director as well as students in the interview make you feel welcome and like you are worth their time. This immediately put me at ease and allowed me to focus on crafting my responses instead of my nerves. Further, they find places to relate to you.

Question 1
They always try to put people at ease by asking them something like what song describes you or who would play you in a movie. This isn't something I generally think about so I just said the first thing that popped into my head, which probably didn't make any sense.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Boston University (Boston, MA) in Jan 2012
Interview
I applied online through the university careers website and heard back about a week later. There was an initial human resources phone screen where about 10 standard questions were asked about work style, experience, and overall work history. I then had an in-person interview with the hiring manger.

Question 1
One of the questions was related to finance and forecasting which I was unsure how to answer as that is not my specialty and I was unprepared at the time for it.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Boston University in Apr 2014
Interview
I had two interviews total for this position. I met with several very nice people from the office, which demonstrated to me how nice of an environment the office seemed. The only drawback to this process is how slow they are to get back to you, which is fairly common in higher ed, at least (not sure about other industries). Still waiting to hear back...
