I applied in-person. I interviewed at Boston University
Interview
Very brief. The recruitment phase of the hiring process takes place when the company tries to reach a pool of candidates through job postings, job referrals, advertisements, college campus recruitment, etc. Candidates who respond to these measures then come in for interviews and other methods of assessment. Employers may check the background of prospective employees, as well as check references.

Interview
Applied online. Contacted by HR for phone interview. No updates after that and followed up. Was told that they will call and be in contact in the following week but never heard anything back. Very poor communication of HR.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Boston University (Boston, MA) in Dec 2017
Interview
I applied for a position at the Questrom School. It took quite a while to hear back in regards to getting an interview, but after a simple phone screen about my experience, I went for an in-person interview. I thought everything went well. I met the team, our personalities seemed to mesh, and I had planned to return the following week to meet with the director who was out of office. Never got a reply to any of my follow-up emails. It has now been two months, and in that time I’ve interviewed, accepted, and started another position. I found the whole experience positive, up until they simply stopped replying, and now I’m left questioning whether the “good vibes” I had were one-sided. I have a friend who is already employed at BU and she told me she is shocked by the unprofessionalism and lack of communication they exhibited.
