I applied online. I interviewed at Boston University
Interview
Had a phone interview - was told to email with any questions. Took the time to write up a nice follow up and asked about timeline. I never heard back. I also never received the courtesy of a generic template rejection. Just frustrating to get excited about a position, to spend the time and energy to interview, write a follow up - and then not even be afforded a simple automated canned response letting me know it was fulfilled.

Question 1
Basic questions - sort of weird, like "we're going to ask for references ok?"

Interview
For the political science department
Interview were set up haphazzardly with two people sending emails at odd hours. They seemed to know who they were going to hire from the start. Interview was two separate zooms.
It was a Zoom interview with a panel of employees. They each asked several prepared questions in a round robin format. It was not an organic conversation. They asked a question, I answered. Then another question was asked.
