I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boston University
Interview
One hour interview with two employees. Interview consisted of various questions specific to the position and my experience. There were no questions that were terribly challenging. The interview invite was extended after I reached out the the head of the department.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Boston University
Interview
The interview was in two phases the first one was resume and performance review. The second was an in-person behavioral interview with the manager of the program and two more supervisors. The behavioral questions were addressed mainly by the manager and then the supervisors took over and asked more detailed questions based on my previous experience as a caller.

Question 1
Explain a conflict you experienced in the past and how did you handle it?
The interview was a pretty standard video interview process (over Zoom). The hiring coordinator took awhile (2-3 weeks) to respond to my email about times to schedule it. Then, I was pretty much lead on after the interview with "we'll follow up with you after x amount of time"-- being told this a couple times.
In the end, I received an automated rejection email. As being one that has interviewed at other institutions, I found the leading on and lack of communication to be very unprofessional on their part. It seems to me like their hiring process is mismanaged either by their department or university.
