Interview
It is usually based on the professor, but if you show interest in their research or helping in their department it, it should be fine. I was just shown his project outlook and where I saw myself and explained to him my abilities and time schedule.

The interviewer asked me questions about my grades and ability to handle a new project. There was a strong focus on gauging my passion to ward the project and the field of study.
