I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Boston University (Boston, MA) in Aug 2014
Interview
I had a 30 minute phone interview, followed by a 45 min in person interview with the supervisor and another staff member. The final round interview was between myself, my supervisor and faculty whom I would be directly supporting, it was about an hour long. Once the position was offered to me, I had to do a final interview with HR - this is standard at BU, but catches you a little off guard since you've been offered the job by the people you'll be working with. The interview with HR asked me to describe my qualifications for the position, my salary requirements and gave me an opportunity to ask questions about benefits.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most interview questions were fairly generic. Faculty asked me what my greatest challenge in my previous position was.
The interview process is a multiple-stage process for hiring new employees. The stages mainly comprise job interviews held either one-on-one, with a group of candidates, or with a panel. Interviews are conducted in person, over the phone or by email, or via video conferencing tools.

Very easy and straight forward. No stress at all, it almost seems as if they want you to succeed. Interviewer very helpful as well in making it a low pressure environment
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Boston University in Oct 2022
Interview
I applied online and got an email asking to do an initial interview, which I opted to do on Zoom. About a week after the interview, I was asked to come in for an in-person interview in the office I'd be working in. Overall, it was a pretty easy process, though I felt there could have been a better explanation of what the job was, with more details and expectations.
