Applied for a job online in November 2018. I got an email inviting me for a phone interview for this particular role with the hiring manager. We spoke for about 20 minutes about the role, the company, and I did plenty of research beforehand so I could ask pertinent questions. The hiring manager actually remarked on how impressed they were that I had done research and that most people didn't look at the School's website to educate themselves prior to interviewing. We had a pretty good rapport and I felt that I was a strong candidate. I was told that I would be hearing from the talent acquisition team in terms of next steps. I sent a follow up email after our call to thank the hiring manager for their time. The interview experience was positive. However I never received any kind of follow up after the call from talent acquisition like the told me I would. I've received more considerate correspondence from jobs that I've applied for and didn't even get an interview for to let me know I was no longer in consideration or that the position had been filled. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate.
