The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Boeing in Oct 2010
Interview
Talked to recruiter at the school career fair and made a good impression, so was scheduled for a phone interview in the next couple of days with recruiter. Phone interview consisted of just STAR behavioral questions and took about an hour. Took a month to get a system generated request for more information, and then another month to receive an offer from an IT HR. A background check was also done before receiving an offer.

Question 1
Tell me a time when you had to work with a difficult team member.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Boeing (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2009
Interview
It was a behavioral interview. It was for an internship position and I hadn't yet had any experience in the field of IT (it was for a position that would start 8 months from the date of the interview). All Boeing's 1st round of entry level position interviews for IT are behavioral, so be ready for that. They were looking for people with good leadership experience.

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you had to make an important decision, and how you incorporated others into that decision.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Boeing (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2009
Interview
Their ATS is "BESS" - the online resume submittal website. Seems to have gotten tougher & trickier to be selected for an interview by a resume. It's a 'blackhole' process.
Interview process
STARO style: Panel gives the interviewee a Situation or Task scenerio, then asks the interviewee what Action(s) they took and the Result(s) &/or Outcome(s) of the action.
Boeing changed to this style several years ago (probably as a result of the Oxley-Sarbanes court case) and even the hiring managers don't like it. It is a points system designed to be fair and it's very impersonal.
