I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Boeing (Seal Beach, CA) in Jan 2014
Interview
Phoned by HR to set up time for interview (Had 2 days to choose from). Phone interview lasted about 45 minutes. Was interviewed by 4 People (2 Managers and 2 senior engineers). Most questions were the STAR type questions. Some technical. At the end they allow questions.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE POSITION ASK QUESTIONS!!! In all my experience when you ask questions about the position it shows interest and I've always received an offer. Remember when they set up an interview they WANT to hire you. When they interview you, they are looking for reasons NOT to hire you.
One question I asked was when to expect a response about the "next step." Was told that they would be sending out offers the following week (Interviews were over Thursday and Friday).
Following Friday was Emailed by BESS with an offer and to log into account to view.
Position was for a Level 1 or 2 and I was offered a Level 2 position.
The 4 interviewers were extremely professional and over the course of the interview made it very comfortable and laid-back.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing (Ridley Park, PA) in Feb 2011
Interview
Process starts with an Applicant Tracking System resume submission. Be sure to tailor your resume to the job description you are applying to. HR and Hiring managers receive 100's of resumes per day for most postings. If you are selected for an interview (either phone or in-person) it will be a structured interview process. A panel of at least two people will ask predetermined questions which are to be answered using the STAR approach. STAR asks you to describe a Situation, Tasks, Actions and Results for the given behavioral question. You are rated on what you answer during the interview. Do not assume your interviewer knows anything more about you and do not assume that they will pull additional information from your resume. The answer must stand on its own.
If you make it through the interview process, the hiring process can take six or more weeks to complete. Background checks and drug screens are standard. All your communication will be through your HR representative. You can "try" to negotiate some of the terms of the offer, but do not expect too much flexibility from the hiring managers. They are limited by what Global Staffing limits and ranges.
