I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Boehringer Ingelheim (Danbury, CT) in Apr 2016
Interview
BI showed a great deal of courtesy by ensuring I had a hotel room the night before the interview and providing travel-related reimbursement. It was great to interview while well-rested vs. having an all day interview after a VERY long drive from my home state. As well, it was nice to have an informal lunch with members of the team. It allowed us to get to know personalities on a more personal level.
Took 4 months, multiple rounds of phone/virtual/in person interviews with many different levels of employees. Exact next steps were never clear. Overall, very nice people and communicative HR department despite lack of transparency.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Boehringer Ingelheim (Ridgefield, CT)
Interview
Recruiter, then hiring manager, panels, Director and Executive Director. Thoughtful questions, quite long. Some interviewers need practice. Overall, just an experience that could remove some layers and unnecessary people from the process.

Question 1
How would you use a certain type of data to drive your decisions?
Quick initial process with recruiter, didnt qualify for next round of interviews but the recruiter provided valuable feedback as to why i was not selected for the next round of interviews.
