I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Blue Apron (New York, NY)
Interview
The employee who conducted my phone screen was possibly the least personable human I've ever encountered in a job interview. Right off the bat he seemed incredibly disinterested, his questions were lengthy and unclear, and the repeated silences after I'd finished answering were really unnerving. At times, comments about my experience felt more snide than inquisitive.
This was in complete contrast with the handful of other interviews I've had recently – all for similar positions, and in all of which my prior experience hasn't been anything but a positive. I didn't come out of this phone call feeling like the qualified candidate that I was, rather I felt baffled that he had picked up the phone in the first place if he was clearly feeling so negative about me. I got the impression that he had never actually wanted to interview me but someone else had made him, and it was odd to feel a sense of relief when I got an email a week later to say I wouldn't be progressing.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Blue Apron (Jersey City, NJ) in Aug 2016
Interview
There was one interview with people that were not with the company after I was hired. Overall not a great experience. First 2 weeks were very awkward and uncomfortable. Very unexpected and unsatisfactory.
