I applied in-person. I interviewed at Big 5 Sporting Goods (Cottonwood, AZ) in Jan 2021
Interview
Not really an interview. Just a job offer. Then they had me jump through all these hoops of getting my GED scores and writing down every contact for each employer for the last 10 years even though I had given all the info asked for on the application online. After bending over backwards they kept me on the line for 6 weeks and never contacted me to tell me that I won't have a start date. I had to reach out to them to find out. They offer minimum wage. It's not that desirable of a job.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Big 5 Sporting Goods (Vallejo, CA) in Sep 2022
Interview
2 interviews. One phone call with an assistant manager. The next step is an in person interview with the store manager & then offer on the spot. So come prepared for the interview!
