Question 1
We were discussing my current experiences because I was doing exactly the same job with the previous employer and my skills were directly applicable. The company was going to build out a new team, and I was a part of a similar group knowing all the nut-and-bolts. Technically, I was extended an offer almost the same day. It took more than a week to take care of necessary formalities. Three days before the starting date, they recalled an offer providing no reason. By that time, I already gave a notice to another employer and stopped interviewing for more lucrative positions.
