Interview
I called at the right time and got the head store manager. He was extremely nice and had a professional appearance. The interview was very informal and relaxed and general questions were asked. He made it seem like I was not wasting his time which made the interview so much easier and less stressful.

Interview
I was an internal hire so it was a different process then typical. The first thing I did was inform my District Manager (DM) that I was interested in the job. When it came time for the first interview with my Human Resource Manager he asked questions pertaining to the transition from associate to manager and if it would be difficult. Also most stores require you to leave your current store to train in a new setting. It was not requested of me. The second interview was with the DM. He asked if I was willing to relocate and how being flexible in my availability to other stores was key to being hired.

If I was willing to relocate. It seems like a soft ball question but if you're not committed to traveling, make sure you say why. If you don't want to do it, be up front about it. It's ruined some of the best managers I've been around when it comes to driving an hour away from home and family.

Applied in person, paper application. Was called in for an interview with manager and took a personality test. Was called about a week later with job offer. They are very very customer service and product knowledge oriented.
