I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bayer (Rojas) in Sep 2024
Interview
Se realizo a través de una consultora. Fué una entrevista con la consultora y luego una entrevista con gente de Bayer para datos mas técnicos del puesto. Fué una entrevista descontracturada.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Me preguntaron qué esperaba del puesto, mi pretensión salarial y preguntas acerca de mis experiencias laborales anteriores.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bayer in May 2024
Interview
Passed Interview and got an offer but company has one of the worst HR team i have experienced in a long long time.
Got ghosted after first phone call which said they will give me an offer, then got an call from a different HR and i reverted back with my reference checks and my documents like passport and working rights etc. then this second HR ghosted me for one week no email reply no picking up calls.
Then First HR called one week of ghosting me to let me know that they have proceeded with a different candidate and she didn't knew about it as she was on leave. But someone did the reference check as well so i was well prepared to leave my current company.
Then i tried contacting my reference in the company (who i had found on LinkedIn) and he said that i am not open to negotiate but the truth is i never received a phone call to discuss remuneration.
One of the worst experience and stressful two weeks. Now i feel like i missed a bullet from entering that inorganized Sydney Team.
Had heard really good things about the company so i applied but this experience says otherwise.
My advice - if you have equally good offer from other company take that.
The whole process took less than a month. 1st interview was online, with two managers and it was more of a situational based questions. The 2nd interview is the practical interview with the senior engineer.
