Interview
Group interview. Basic questions, why Bath & Body Works? What is your favorite product? How would you approach a customer if they said they didn't need help? They also asked you to try and sell a bottle of lotion to the interviewer. It was a fairly easy interview, but you really have to try and stand out when you are in a group.

Question 1
What would you do if a customer say they didn't need your help and walked away?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works (Davis, CA) in Nov 2013
Interview
Involved. They asked me to pick out three of their products and why I chose them. I asked me about my past experience, why I would make a good sales associate and what is a skill and weakness I had. A typical interview process, but also asked questions about how to push sales and even what I liked about Bath and Body works.

Again they asked me to pick out three products and why.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works (Bridgeport, CT) in Oct 2015
Interview
I printed out my application and handed it into the store. The person who received my application was the store manager and she said that she would put in a good word for me because she liked my personality. After about three days I got a callback from the store manager saying that they would like to interview me. It was a group interview so she told me just to be bubbly and cheerful. I dressed Business casual in black pants and a chiffon shirt. When I arrived at the store there were two girls already there and the store manager said that she was waiting on two more to arrive. After everyone arrived we were asked to pick out our favorite product from Bath and Bodyworks and be able to sell it to them. I was a bit nervous but she told us all it was nothing to be nervous about just be ourselves. We were directed to the back of the store and were interviewed by the district manager. The interview was very causal as to put us at ease. After about a week and a couple days I got a call back saying they wanted to hire me. I really thought I didn't get the job because I messed up when I was told to introduce myself but I got more comfortable as the interview went on. I consider myself not really outspoken but they don't want someone who is just outspoken, they want someone who can efficiently communicate with customers and help them and someone who is friendly and cheerful. Just be your best self and you will be fine.
