I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works (Buena Park, CA) in Sep 2010
Interview
Came in for an interview with 3 other people. Before we got interviewed by the manager, they had us grab any product in the store and later on we described what we liked about the product. I didn't have to do the hand demo but I heard that the other interviewees did. Most likely, you'll have to so be prepared. Since it was a group interview, there were 8 questions asked but each person only answered 2, which helped out alot. Overall, easy interview with typical questions like why would you like to work for our company and what are your weaknesses. Also, they asked some role playing questions like, what would you do if a customer came in dissatisfied with a product.

Will ask you to play out sales scenario towards end of shift. Very inviting and welcoming environment from management. You do not need prior sales experience they will teach you.

Interview
Very structured and easygoing. The hiring manager was very polite and asked important questions. I didn't hear back until about two weeks later, and I accepted the position. Ended up working there for 4 years and had an awesome experience.
basic interview on your commong skills in the workplace asking questions like what was a difficult experience you had and how did you deal with it, what are your strong and weak points, etc.
