Barclays Test Engineer interview questions

Extremely disappointing interview experience. The interviewer laughed at several answers even when they were all correct. Instead of assessing my automation skills, he kept revolving around a single story type OOPs question and expected the solution only in his personal style. He behaved in a superior, condescending manner. His words and tone were filled with disrespect and humiliation. The interviewer displayed very limited understanding of automation testing and kept evaluating me through a narrow developer-style lens that is completely misaligned with a 5-year automation role. The goal was not to evaluate but to show superiority.It was more like dealing with ego than a genuine technical evaluation. One of the most demotivating and unnecessarily humiliating interviews I’ve experienced, and it would leave any sincere, hardworking candidate feeling disrespected.
