I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays (New York, NY) in Nov 2013
Interview
I was invited up to Barclays for the Diversity bootcamp, which is a 3 day program in which you learn about both Investment Banking and Sales & Trading. On the last day, I had a super day, where I met with 3 different MDs for 30min each. The first two interviews were behavioral and the third was technical but the technicals were markets-focused and seemed to test whether I keep up with the news and understand the basics of financial markets.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Barclays (Pune) in Aug 2012
Interview
The entire hiring process took approx. 2.5 months. I was referred by a BTCI employee. After shortlisting the profile, 1st round of telephonic discussion was scheduled in same week. My interview went well, but I absolutely had no clue of the next step as HRs did not respond, neither through email, nor picked up the contact number they gave. Then after 1 month, I got a call from HR saying my naukri profile has been shortlisted for a role, I told about already been interviewed & being a referral, to which he said its for different team altogether. So a new telephonic round was scheduled & later I was called for face to face discussion within a week. Had stakeholder, managerial, and HR rounds on the same day. But again HR took more than 1.5 month to release the initial offer letter.
