I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bank of America in Oct 2008
Interview
Prior year: Attended company presentation for internship, but was not selected.
Next year: applied along with another 127 (or so I have heard from the Career Office) applicants from my class. Submitted just resume, no cover letter. Got invited along with 24 other candidates to interview on campus. Behaviorally based, no surprises with 2 local leaders working for the Division we were interviewing for. Both of them conducted interview at the same time, as a panel. Then six of us got selected for the next round, flied to Charlotte and interview by leaders one level higher. Reception with interviewers and prior class of those who got hired in the evening, interviews in the morning – same deal behaviorally based. Three to four interviewers: one regional executive, two markets executives and one HR person.
You are evaluated for a fit. Spend time connecting with those who are in the roles to get the scoop on what theu are about (get names from Career Center), and speak to that in the interview, otherwise you can be really missing what they are looking for. Pay for Performance culture, meaning you have to work hard, and show ability to quickly and decisively coming up with good high level solutions to business problems and execute. Perceptiveness and strong communications skills are key.
Interview questions [1]

I applied online. I interviewed at Bank of America (Chester, Inglaterra)
Interview
There were 2 Teams/Zoom interviews followed by an in person interview. The process was fairly standard, talking through experiences and reasons for wanting the job etc. It was thorough and probing but nothing too scary.
