I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BMW Group in Oct 2023
Interview
1. Recruiter Call 2. Technical Interview 3. Hiring Manager Call Recruiter call was very amicable, passed me to the technical round, because I had a good introduction that explained why I was fit for the role. In technical round, there was only one interviewer, no one else joined. The interviewer dug into a lot of theoretical questions as well as my background. No coding or SQL query questions. I didn't have insight to the questions they might have asked so Im making this post to help others who might be still interviewing with them.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BMW Group (München, Bavaria) in Jul 2023
Interview
I recently had the opportunity to interview with BMW, and it was an enlightening experience. The entire process provided me with a deeper understanding of the company and the role I applied for. The team was professional and informative, ensuring I had a clear picture of what the position entailed. While I learned a lot and genuinely appreciated the experience, it turned out that I wasn't the right fit for the role. Nonetheless, I'm grateful for the insights gained and the chance to engage with such a reputable company.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at BMW Group (Kraaifontein, Western Cape) in May 2023
Interview
A great 2 day process, especially through the Tech Day program.
1st candidates get paired up with different team leaders, they work through the daily scenarios and resolving issues/tasks
2nd is an HR interview with the HR rep and Team Manager. Less technical and more behavioural interview.
This is better than the technical interview where candidates are asked theoretical questions which someone can be difficult to answer, so its better for them to actually see you do your work.
