      Business Development Executive Interview

      Dec 18, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Estocolmo,
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at BDO (Estocolmo, )

      Interview

After clearing all other stages I reached the final stage. This was supposed to be an exercise on a real-world issue, so they could review my skills. Something I have no issues with and looked forward to. but on that day, They presented me with a case that they are currently working on. this means two things: If I tell them how I would manage the situation, I'm telling them what they are doing wrong. Without having all the background information leading to the current situation or without the ability to do any Due Diligence, I'm found myself locked in a situation where: A. By solving the issue, I'm telling them that they are bad at their jobs. B. By not solving it I prove I'm bad at my job. Safe to say theres no middle ground. A word to the wise, When testing candidates for positions, simulating business cases so you have equal insight and attachment is the way to go.
