Interviewed once on campus, through the career center, with an Audit manager from the Los Angeles office. Pretty typical behavioral interview. They asked about my extracurriculars, my strengths and weaknesses, and we discussed the culture of BDO versus other firms.

What have you learned in your extra-curricular activities that you can bring with you to BDO?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at BDO (Perth, Australia Occidental) in May 2026
Interview
Online Hirevue and then in 1-1 case style interview.
Interview involved structuring thoughts and creating corresponding excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint slide. Interview was relatively unstructured and flowed with my approach + guidance from the interviewer.
Online hirevue video recording, then you go in for in-person assessment centre where you sit at a table with 5 other applicants and go through a scenario, from there it is a one-on-one interview.
Das Vorstellungsgespräch verlief insgesamt okay. Ich konnte die Fragen beantworten, jedoch wurden teilweise unnötige Fragen gestellt und die Atmosphäre war nicht besonders angenehm. Dadurch wirkte das Gespräch nicht so angenehm.
