Said I wasn’t qualified for an entry level position when I had more years than required. They where slow to get back to me and would say I’d be a fit for a lower level.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BASF (Tempe, AZ) in Jan 2023
Interview
1. Introduction: Interview with the manager
2. Technical presentation in PhD research
3. A coding assessment (3 days)
4. Discussion with HR.
Overall, the interview process was well planned. The manager was upfront about it, so it didn't feel tedious. The coding round was fun, and the manager provided me with clarity wherever I needed it.
