I started by filling an online application and two days after I was sent an email inviting me to participate in a phone interview. This interview is very generic where they explain about the company and your job duties, and compensation. They make questions regarding your previous sales experience and customer service. At the end I was invited to go for branch interview with the branch manager and regional sales performance manager. They were very kindly and make questions regarding my experience, why I would like to work for Avis, why car rental industry, what do I know about position duties, my knowledge about cars' features and benefits, and lastly if I would be willing to work long hours and flexible shifts. The process was very nice and the both interviewers were looking for someone who would go farther than just sell, but treat customer nicely as well.
