      Marketing Intern Interview

      May 8, 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Avaya in Jun 2010

      Interview

Initial call came from an HR representative in the US after I applied online. They set up a 30-minute phone interview with the hiring manager for the role. The interview was fairly easy, with the vast majority of it being experience/resume-based. This led to a 1-on-1 interview and a 2-on-1 interview back to back on the same day, about a week after the phone interview. Both interviews were 30 minutes. The 1-on-1 was with head of HR for Canada, and was mostly behavioural questions, typical stuff. The 2-on-1 was with the hiring manager and a member of the team I was to be part of. Questions included "walk me through your resume", as well as behavioural ones. Overall very positive experience interviewing. A call came within 2 days after to offer me the position, which I accepted.
