The interview process was very nice. It was divided into 3 parts, first 2 being technical while the last was technical + HR.
1st round: One simple dsa question about K frequent elements. After this project discussion, my project was a RAG based so got asked a lot of AI and RAG questions.
2nd Round: Begin with an oops concept and then an OOPS code was given whose output I was supposed to give. After which i was supposed to write a code for OOPS. Then some more project discussion, backend, AI and MCPs.
3rd round: HR mostly but also got asked some technical questions.
Didn't get selected but earned a lot of experience from this.
I applied online. I interviewed at Autodesk (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2024
Interview
The whole process took only a few days; I received an invitation for an interview via email about a month after I submitted the application, and I interviewed with 3 researchers a couple of days later. The interviewers were kind and friendly, so the interview experience was a smooth one.
However, I never heard back from the recruiter even after following up with them, and never received an automated rejection notice...I only had confirmation of my application rejection when my Workday status eventually changed. Got multiple reminders to complete the interview survey, however.

Question 1
Questions were all behavioural, just asked about my previous experiences. Was also asked to quickly propose a potential research study.
