I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AstraZeneca (Chennai) in Sep 2020
Interview
Got an opportunity to review my profile after a lot of application submission in the career portal. That too contacted through Linkedin Connection. Had a 1st round interview with BI people, the interview was good and neat. HR contacted after the 1st round and processed my profile for the 2nd round on the same day with the senior management. Here comes the hard part, there is a straight away concern raised by the senior management as to why you are searching for a job in shorter time. Even after providing proper justification on that front. Management was more keen on pushing that point. I said, the applications so far applied with Astrazeneca will be the right answer to your question and to show my commitment & passion with Astrazeneca. After 2nd round, i was informed i will be provided an feedback in couple of days (as the interview scheduled on a friday). Till now i didnt get any feedback from them and HR is now not replying to my message & doesnt even care to attend my calls for the same.
Advice to the management: If you are not interested in someone, put a clear clarification on the feedback and communicate the same to the candidate. Not only recruiters time is precious, even candidate's time is precious. HR department is very much reachable while arranging further interviews even late hours of the day, but doesnt care about informing the feedback.
