I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Arm (Cambridge, East of England, England) in Dec 2020
Interview
Very strange interview process, which lacked professionalism and depicted lack of communication between teams in Arm (may be because of Nvidia acquisition, I don't know).
I firstly got interviewed for a position in the OSS team, but that position got filled and Arm decided to interview me for other positions. I did well, And the HR department contacted me for salary negotiations. We agreed on a base salary and I asked Arm to send a written offer letter to me. The next day I got the rejection email from Arm.
Of course, Arm is a great company but I've had better experiences with much smaller companies.

Interview
The interview process consisted of a screening followed by a take home programming assignment. The assignment was to be completed within 48 hours in c++. Next there was a long technical interview with questions around the programming assignment. There was also another problem which was discussed live during the interview. It ended with a few HR questions like where do you see yourself in the short term, etc.

Interview
The C keywords questions (volatile, const, static), and some related ones, I think I did well. :) The interview felt very easy, so I don’t understand why they didn’t make me an offer : ) . I believe they might just be trying to be different, but if that’s the case, they should also back it up with the kinds of questions they ask. My guess is they’re either choosing randomly or making decisions mainly based on cost.

2 rounds of virtual technical interview and 1 round in-office technical interview.
Ghosted and no update or communication - negative or positive from the company HR.
Not expected after 3 rounds and from a top tier company with such good brand value and size.
