Completed an Online questions to be completed then call back phone assessment and then offered interview a week or two later. Relaxed interview with the manager and the assistant manager in the store office. Was told I would hear back within a week or so. Got an email to say I had been unsuccessful.

Applied online got a phone call next day. One on one interview with the store manager he was a misrable chap .Took me through customer scenarios on a customer advisor interview booklet, never once asked about me as a person. Rang next day to say I had been unsuccessful.

It was quite easy and laid back. The managers were down to earth. This was a new store opening so they wanted to pick a great team. I was taken to the shop floor to demonstrate my customer service skills. My interviewer observed from a distance for approximately 5 minutes.
The overall experience was great and relaxing. However, I do not think every Argos interview process is like this.
