I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Argos in Oct 2020
Interview
On the phone interview which was great. Got told I was the perfect person for the job.
Then went into store to handover identity documents and sign.
After that I was told I would get an online hazard perception test.... due to Covid no practical tests are now done.
Found out half an hour before the test that it was done via phonecall. Had a 45minute Theory test (not so much hazard perception at all!) loads of very vague questions and some very unrealistic scenarios.!! Argos should change the way they are doing the 'Hazard Perception' as via phone call it cannot really show how good of a driver the applicant is. Other companies have done it the correct way with a series of images where you have to click or type in an answer.
Other than that theory test phone call the staff were friendly and the process was easy.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Argos (Blackburn, England) in Oct 2020
Interview
It was a phone interview, then a face to face interview. It was very relaxed and I felt more at ease. The person who did my interview was really nice and asked me questions about myself so i felt more comfortable
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Argos
Interview
3 interviews with varying people. Very long winded and a lot of coaching was given to get through the interview. I don’t really have 30 words on this to be honest there isn’t 30
