I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Argos (Merthyr Tydfil, Wales) in Aug 2012
Interview
The whole process consisted of one group interview of around 20 people split in to smaller groups of ~5. The interview consisted of role play/group activities where you were required to show how you work as part of a team. Nothing stressful. There were no one-to-one interviews. Successful candidates were told within two weeks whether they were successful and when work would start.

Question 1
They asked us to learn about another candidate in the room through conversation and then stand up and tell the rest of the room about that person.
You are interviewed in a group, will talk to staff, hand them your passport and ID as you work in pairs to discuss the other person's strengths, discuss your hobbies and aspirations. Then you will participate in a fun group activity in which you will create your own original argos advert in teams.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Argos in Feb 2021
Interview
Short, to the point it was a fairly simple and straight forward process. The interviewer asked a couple of basic and generic questions about my employment history. I then was able to ask some questions about the role and the type of work I would be doing day to day
