Thought it was relaxed and okay, friendly store manager was interviewer
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Argos (Wolverhampton, Inglaterra) in Sep 2014
Interview
They called me and asked when I would be available for a formal interview, I gave them a date and it was set. I went into the store and was directed behind the collection area, the manager came out and took me to his office. He was surprised and glad I wore a suit because no one else had, he was easy to talk to and very down to earth. He said he would see how I could work on the shop floor so he gave me a management lanyard and asked me to help anyone on the shop floor for half an hour. After that he took me back and introduced me to the stock manager and asked a few questions. He told me they would contact me in the next week but he basically told me there and then I got the job.

.what are your strengths and how can you apply them to working with us?
.on the subject of working in the stockroom, can you work efficiently doing manual labor?
You had to do an online assessment with your application with some scenario questions and then questions that are personality tailored. Then offered a 1 to 1 interview supposed to last 30 minutes

Tell us about a time you've had to deal with an unhappy customer ?
Casual conversation talking about experiences, skills etc. What the role was about and responsibilities it carries. Asked my availability and flexibility. Make sure you have questions to ask the interviewer asking about key aspects of the role.
