I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Argos (Worthing, South East England, England) in Oct 2014
Interview
I applied online and filled out a form which only took me 5 minutes
A couple of days later I got an email for an interview, i couldnt do this date so they rescheduled
I went in and this was a 1 on 1 interview, I met the person who was doing my interview and we sat down in her office and she explained a few things to me
I was put on the shop floor and had to walk around looking at sales and how the store is laid out and their products
The next thing I had to do was approach some customers and ask them if they needed any help and what their experience was like at argos today
Once I had done that we went back into her office and that was when the actual interview started
There was lots of questions and she was writing down my responses, some harder than others
All in all this whole process took about an hour
At the end she told me that i would get an email that day if I got the job or not and I accepted the offer
