Standard interview questions about yourself and why you want to work at Argos, with scenario based questions too. Then they make you go on to the shop floor and speak with customers which is very nerve racking in the interview situation but also kind of pointless as if the customer asks you anything about what's in stock or the system then you can't answer also most customers will ignore you as you aren't in uniform so I didn't see the point of this part. Also the manager then asked me about being able to drive which I have been for years and then tried to get me to agree to do a van driving test (I have never used a van before) and this was not part of the advertised position I applied for so I didn't understand why they were asking me about it when I had applied for a customer service based position. The Argos I applied for was advertising for both drivers and customer service advisors but I personally felt it was very inappropriate for them to asking to do this van driving test when I had not applied for it and in an interview situation I felt forced into agreeing to do it as it seemed like it would effect if I got the job or not. I found this to be unacceptable and inappropriate in an interview situation.
