Argos Customer Assistant interview questions

Online application - they stated in the interview that they look at the additional comments box for what you write before they look at CV's make your best impression from the start! Heard back next day arranging a telephone interview, this was very friendly, informal, a good chat just about where I have worked, what is good customer service and provide examples, why do you want to work for Argos, quite typical questions. Then it was an in-person interview with a manager, a different one from the telephone interview. this lasted an hour but this was a good sign as my interview was the longest of the day and I got the job, its about good rapport and making a connection even during an interview and showing your spark. I was asked similar questions to the interview over the phone that I had done previously, how I would go about selling a camera to a customer, this is good point to mention card and care. I also discussed community champions and how the employer supports the community and ability to work up and get training with the company

It was advertised as a role requiring no previous experience, however each of the questions began with the likes of "describe a time when...". A waste of both my time and theirs
