Argos Customer Advisor interview questions

I applied for a Christmas temp job and attended an interview only to see it was a group interview and it was more of a weekday job so i didn't really mind not getting it. At the interview we were asked why we want the job and did observation on the shopfloor to suggest any improvements and then we were told we would find out in two days. I didn't hear back so i assumed i didn't get the job. A few weeks later i got a call saying they wanted me for a weekend job.

The interview process felt really daunting at first, but turned out to be rather relaxing. After submitting my job application i was telephoned a few weeks afterwards and asked whether or not i would be able to come down to the store to undergo a face-to-face interview. While in the interview the interviewer was very nice and friendly and kept repeating my name, which i can only guess was to increase the connection between us. After the interview the showed me the stock room and outlined the different roles i might be asked to do i.e stock room picking, giving out catalogues, being placed on the till, and then when i went back into the managers office i was presented with a red Argos shirt and was told that i could start the following weekend if i wanted.
