I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Arcadis
Interview
I was offered an interview quite quickly after applying for the role which was good. The interview itself I found to be quite unpleasant, just question after question after question with no opportunity to build any rapport with the interviewers. Despite stumbling with a couple of answers, the interview generally went quite well although even by the end the interviewers had not warmed up at all. I was told I would hear from them within two weeks but never heard anything after that day. I didn't bother to chase as I didn't like what I saw that day, and was offered a position elsewhere shortly after.

Question 1
How do you keep yourself abreast of industry news?
Can you give me an example of when you faced a big challenge on a project? What did you do about it? How did you communicate it to the client? What did the client think about that?
Simple interview process with mixture of behavioural and technical questions, smooth conversation throughout. Plenty of time given for technical discussion preparation beforehand so can prepare accordingly. Follow up occurred a week after interview
I applied online. I interviewed at Arcadis (Bruselas)
Interview
I had an incompany interview with the two members of the in-house recruiting team. They asked usual questions like "why Arcadis", "What can you bring to the company", "how do you handle difficult people", "tell me about a time you handled a conflict"
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Arcadis (Leeds, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
Had initial call with recruiter, and then interview via Teams with two directors. Interview was pretty standard and overall I thought it went very well. Was told afterward it went well and got asked for a second more formal interview, which again went well. Then nothing. Absolutely ghosted. No feedback. Incredibly unprofessional.
