The process took 3 days. I interviewed at AppsFlyer (São Paulo, )
Interview
I first was reached out by a Toent Recruiter through Linkedin, and the approach was very good and polite.
After confirming my intention to move forward with the interview process, the recruiter told me I was going to be contacted by another Talent Recruiter to schedule the interview.
The next business day, I got the e-mail from this next Talent Recruiter asking me to confirm my salary expectation and my availability to a first interview on 12pm next day.
I thought that this approach was way too straightforward and almost agressive. I didn’t even talked to anyone via phone and the first thing the company asks me is my salary expectation?
I repplied to the e-mail answering the questions and that I wasn’t available at 12pm next day (which I also thought kind of desperate from Appsflyer). I understood the company’s need to move quickly and suggested another slots I had available the next day.
Next day, this Talent Recruiter called my phone directly from Israel asking me to confirm availability on another hour. Again, I thought that the approach was barely anxious and desperate. Couldn’t the recruiter count on my response via e-mail?
About the interview: I spoke to one Sales Director at LATAM, who was very kind and pleasant but entered the interview a few minutes late and seemed worried about the other call she had after the interview meeting with me.
Overall, either the interview process wasn’t successfully made and I had a bad perception of the company; or the interview process actually showed how the company operates.
I tend to think it’s the second scenario.

Question 1
Tell me about your sales experience and how it would contribute to Appsflyer
Thank you for your feedback. It's unfortunate that we couldn't provide you with the best experience possible. We have looked into this incident and are reviewing our processes. At AppsFlyer we tend to move quickly with our hiring processes and understand that there may have been some cultural misunderstandings here. It's also important for us to check salary expectations from the beginning out of respect for our candidates' time and effort but nevertheless understand how may have been perceived by others.
We wish you all best.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AppsFlyer (Tel Aviv) in Feb 2021
Interview
A few interviews and a home assignment to present to the relevant stakeholders. Not a fast process. Took about a month or so. Very nice people involved in the process of interviewing at Appsflyer. That's all :)
Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased that you had a positive experience. We are constantly exploring ways to make our hiring processes more efficient.
