I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AppsFlyer (Tokio) in Feb 2025
Interview
The entire process was handled efficiently and without any issues. Every step was well-organized, and all the individuals I encountered demonstrated a high level of professionalism and courtesy throughout. It was a very good interview experience.

Question 1
Have you had an experience using Appsflyer? What do you think the most difference between the competitor’s product?
I applied online. I interviewed at AppsFlyer (Herzliya)
Interview
I went through 5 interview stages 1.video interview 2.recruiter screen, 3.hiring manager interview in Herzliya, 4.home assignment interview 5.HR final interview. Most of the process was professional and positive. The hiring managers and others were clear about the role and enthusiastic about me joining the team. But the final HR round was a sharp contrast as the recruiter who was initially kind changed tone entirely becoming dismissive. The interview felt more like an interrogation, I was cut off mid-sentence and my answers were met with visible dissatisfaction no matter what I said. It felt like the decision had already been made not based on merit but on who I am or where I come from. Despite strong support from the managers, HR ultimately blocked the process. The environment gave off a clear sense that this is a “private club” culture where only certain types of people are welcomed.
Advise to candidates: pay attention that the process is long and whilst many team members are great, HR may act on personal bias. It’s a long process to invest your time and effort only to find judgment that feels far more personal than professional.
5-7 rounds with different stake holders Generic plus technical queries and a mix of face to face and in person rounds. Interaction with the HR and then senior up in the team you are in
